Students can choose from a variety of special interest clubs. Students can receive information from the office, the daily announcements, or the school newspaper. Students should feel free to seek out information from organization members or adult advisors. Many clubs hold open memberships and welcome students who develop interest in the activity at any time in the school year.

Click Here - The Thousand Islands Booster Club supports all student extra-curricular activities. Money is raised to support the full range of student activities: Athletics, Music and the Arts, Robotics and numerous other student interest groups and clubs. The booster club organizes the staffing of all concession stands at home football and basketball games, which can be sponsored by a student team or group as a fundraising option for the group.
Interact Club:
A Rotary sponsored service club for 9th-12th graders. The club was started in the middle of the 2012-2013 school year and already has several service projects under it's belt. This year it plans on sponsoring a Shelterbox through Rotary but is also planning several smaller projects throughout the year. Marching Band:
Focuses on offering experience to young people that will result in their finding joy and excitement in the creative art of music.
Musical:
All students in grades 6-12 have the opportunity to audition for the annual spring musical. Rehearsals are Jan-March with the final production towards the end of March. Students involved in the musical will attend all scheduled rehearsals, help with sets and costumes as well as sing, dance and act.
National Honor Society:
National Honor Society is composed of students in grades 10,11 and 12, who are outstanding in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. To be eligible for membership, a student must have an average of at least. The final selection is made by the faculty who judge each candidate on the basis of leadership, character and service.

SADD, Students Against Destructive Decisions
Students against Destructive Decisions (SADD) is an extracurricular club designed to educate students and the community about the impact of destructive decisions on a student’s academics, athletics, and future plans. Those decisions include use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs as well as texting or using cell phones while driving, speeding and other harmful behaviors.
The goal is to help students make the right decisions through education (speakers, assemblies, etc.) and by offering alternative activities (school events, dances, community service, community involvement, and the after prom lock-in).
All students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
SAFE, Student Activists for the Environment:
An environmental club open to students in grades 9 – 12. The purposes of the club are to increase environmental awareness, provide leadership training, and encourage environmental activism and community service.
Science Olympiad:
Dedicated to improving the quality of science education in grades 5-12, increasing male, female and minority interest in science, creating a technologically literate workforce and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science and technology.
Ski Club:
Ski club goes skiing and snowboarding on Dry Hill. Membership is open to all students in grades 7 -12.

VEX Robotics Club:
VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) is a unique sport of the mind designed to help middle and high school students discover how interesting and rewarding the life of engineers and researchers can be.
Vocal Ensemble:
Provides an individual and collective approach to the cultural, intellectual, and musical growth of each student in the area of musical performance.
Whiz Quiz:
The High School Quiz Team competes against other schools in televised matches at WPBS. Membership is open to all students in grades 9 - 12.
