Library Procedures K - 5
Please encourage your student to be good citizen(s) by taking proper care of school materials. Being able to sign out library books to take home to share with the family is a great priviledge!
  • Use a plastic bag to transport library book(s) to and from school keeping it free of water and dirt. A water bottle in a bag with a library book is a disaster!!
  • Create a designated spot in your home for library books during the loan period so they don't get lost or damaged.
  • Keep all library books away from toddlers and pets, both love books but are not to be trusted following the rules.
If there is an unfortunate accident with a library book, it gets lost and/or damaged, please notify me as soon as possible, along with returning any damaged books so that the matter can be addressed quickly. The student will not be allowed to continue signing out books until the matter is resolved.
